Business Development Executive
Our client is a leading provider of Waste, Hygiene, Pest Control, and Medical services in Ireland, has been delivering innovative solutions to domestic and commercial markets since 2005. As part of a significant growth phase, the company is expanding its Hygiene and Pest Control divisions and is seeking two experienced Business Development Executives for field-based roles in the Munster and Leinster regions.
Role Purpose
The ideal candidate will be target-driven, with proven sales experience and the ability to build and maintain relationships with clients, including large corporate accounts. You will play a key role in driving revenue growth, ensuring customer satisfaction, and supporting the company’s expansion.
Responsibilities
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients to secure repeat business.
- Log all activity, including meetings, contacts, and sales, in the CRM system.
- Serve as the main point of contact for clients, managing the onboarding process and fostering long-term relationships.
- Present value propositions to key and prospective accounts through proposals and presentations.
- Understand operational capabilities to set realistic client expectations.
- Lead large tenders and assist marketing with standardised templates.
- Conduct competitor research to inform sales strategies.
- Analyse sales metrics to assess and improve strategies.
- Report weekly KPIs and other metrics as required.
Core Competencies
- 3+ years of proven sales experience, ideally in the services sector.
- Proficiency in using CRM systems and managing administrative tasks.
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work with senior stakeholders.
- Experience in Hygiene or Pest Control is advantageous but not a prerequisite
- Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
- Problem-solving and adaptability under tight deadlines.
- Full, clean driver’s license required.
