Our client is seeking a skilled Network Engineer with expertise in Security or IP routing and switching, along with a CCNP or Fortinet NSE 7 certification, to join a leading Systems Integrator providing IP services to enterprise clients across Ireland. This role involves taking full ownership of projects related to the design, implementation, and delivery of both core and customer-facing networks.Key responsibilities include supporting enterprise organizations utilizing Cisco and Fortinet infrastructures, addressing escalations from junior team members, and collaborating with vendor partners for advanced troubleshooting and technical support. The position also involves secure remote access to customer infrastructures for troubleshooting network issues, leveraging tools such as Active Directory, SolarWinds, software deployment, monitoring and alerting systems, vulnerability assessments, backup and restore technologies, patch management, and RMM tools.

Role Overview: The Service Delivery Manager is responsible for overseeing and ensuring the efficient delivery of network services by managing and coordinating third-party vendors. This role focuses on maintaining strong partnerships with service providers, ensuring compliance with service level agreements (SLAs), and driving continuous service improvement. The ideal candidate will possess extensive experience in network engineering service management, vendor management, and a deep understanding of ITIL principles. Reporting to the Engineering Manager, this role will also lead a small team of dedicated engineers.
