Cyber Security Consultant
Contract Role (12 Months)

€350-400/Day
Our client is seeking a Cyber Security Consultant to provide invaluable Cyber Security input to various technology projects. Reporting to the Technology Security Manager, this role entails guiding projects through all stages, from feasibility to implementation, ensuring adherence to the highest security standards within a mobile network environment.
Role Responsibilities:
- Define Security requirements and offer guidance for Technology and Network projects.
- Conduct Security Testing and review Security Operational Readiness.
- Identify and mitigate Cyber Security Risks, supporting Risk and Issue management.
- Foster relationships with internal functions, stakeholders, and external partners.
- Assist in Incident Response, Disaster Recovery, and Business Continuity planning.
- Stay updated on Security threats and maintain industry standards knowledge.
Skills and Experience Required:
- Minimum 3 years’ experience in an Information Security role within a technology organization.
- Proficiency in Security consulting, architecture/design, or professional services.
- Excellent communication skills across all organizational levels.
- Ability to perform under pressure and adjust quickly to shifting priorities.
- Strong technical knowledge of Information Systems, WAN and LAN Networks.
- Familiarity with cyber security standards and frameworks (ISO27001, NIST, SANS, OWASP).
- Understanding of Mobile Network Technologies.
- Demonstrated teamwork and collaboration skills.
- Knowledge of Business Continuity best practices and implementation.
- Understanding of Data Protection and Personal Data Governance.
Desirable Certifications:
- ISO-27001 Certified Implementer and/or Auditor
- ISACA Certified Information Security Manager (CISM)
- CompTIA Security+
- ISACA Certified in Risk and Information Control (CRISC)
- ISC2 Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP)
- EC-Council Certified Ethical Hacker (CEH)
- Offensive Security Certified Penetration Tester (OSCP)
