Job Description
The Role:
• You will be joining a team of IT engineers based across multiple offices providing remote and telephone support for SMB and Enterprise customers.
• Your role will be to provide technical advice and practical assistance to our clients and end users.
• Excellent problem solving and troubleshooting skills with an ability to isolate problems to specific parts of a system and diagnose under tight time constraints.
• Good all-round knowledge including resolving issues with PC’s, networks and networked devices (scanners, switches etc)
• Performing System administration and maintenance
• To take ownership of user problems and be proactive when dealing with user issues
• Creating and updating technical documentation including work instructions, standard operating procedures/manuals.
Qualifications and experience:
• Experience in IT support.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Cloud technologies such as Office 365, SharePoint, Intune and Azure.
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft Windows operating systems and Microsoft Office applications
• Experience with Core Microsoft Products including Active Directory, 365 Exchange, and SharePoint
• Experience with networking technologies, including TCP/IP, DNS, and DHCP
• Experience with Fortinet Firewalls and Ubiquity networking products would be beneficial but not essential for the candidate.
• Familiarity with Veeam, Hyper V/ VMware
• Full EU/Irish Driver’s license
• Ability to take on other responsibilities as the role develops.
