Job Overview:
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Junior Business Analyst with a background in computer science to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will assist in analyzing business processes, identifying areas for improvement, and helping to implement solutions that enhance operational efficiency and effectiveness.
Key Responsibilities:
- Requirements Gathering: Collaborate with stakeholders to elicit, document, and analyze business requirements.
- Process Analysis: Assist in mapping and analyzing current business processes to identify inefficiencies and areas for improvement.
- Data Analysis: Perform data analysis to support business decisions and provide insights into key performance metrics.
- Documentation: Create and maintain comprehensive documentation, including business requirements, process flows, and user guides.
- Solution Implementation: Assist in the development and implementation of business solutions, working closely with IT and other departments.
- Testing: Support the testing phase by preparing test cases, conducting tests, and documenting results.
- Support: Provide ongoing support to end-users, addressing any issues or concerns related to implemented solutions.
- Communication: Effectively communicate with stakeholders at all levels to ensure a clear understanding of business needs and project goals.
Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Experience: 0-2 years of experience in a business analyst role or related position. Internships and relevant project experience will be considered.
- Technical Skills:
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio).
- Basic understanding of databases and SQL.
- Familiarity with business analysis tools and methodologies.
- Knowledge of programming languages (e.g., Python, Java) is a plus.
