Role: Level 2 Engineer - Microsoft 365/Teams/Intune Focused
Contract: 3-year day rate contract
Company Overview:
Our client is seeking a skilled Level 2 Engineer to manage and support their Microsoft 365 environment. The successful candidate will work on a variety of tasks related to the administration and support of Microsoft 365 services, with a focus on Teams, Intune, and other critical Office 365 applications.
Role Overview:
The Level 2 Engineer will play a key role in maintaining the performance and security of the organization's Microsoft 365 infrastructure, ensuring smooth operations and efficient user support. The role requires a hands-on, proactive approach to system management, troubleshooting, and user support, alongside collaboration with other IT professionals.
Key Responsibilities:
- Microsoft 365 Administration: Manage and support services including Exchange Online, SharePoint Online, Teams, and OneDrive.
- System Monitoring: Oversee system performance using tools like Manage365, ensuring optimal operation and managing service health.
- User Management: Handle user accounts, permissions, licenses, groups, and distribution lists within Office 365.
- Security Compliance: Implement and maintain security measures, including multi-factor authentication.
- Troubleshooting: Resolve technical issues related to Microsoft 365 services and coordinate with Microsoft support as needed.
- Migrations & Updates: Plan and execute system migrations, updates, and integrations with other systems.
- End-User Support: Provide support and training for Office 365 applications.
- Microsoft Teams & Intune Support: Assist with the rollout and support of Microsoft Teams and Endpoint Manager (Intune) across devices.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Minimum 3+ years experience managing Office 365 environments.
- Strong working knowledge of Exchange Online, SharePoint Online, Teams, OneDrive, and Microsoft Endpoint Manager (Intune).
- Proficiency in PowerShell scripting for Office 365 administration.
- Proven experience with security and compliance features in Office 365.
- Experience in data migration and integration projects.
- Knowledge of networking and Active Directory.
- Microsoft 365 Certified: Enterprise Administrator Expert certification is a plus.
- 5+ years experience in a Level 2 helpdesk environment.
- Excellent troubleshooting, problem-solving, and communication skills.
