Medical Sales Representative
Position Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable Medical Sales Representative to promote and sell the company’s hazardous medical waste collection and treatment services. This national role focuses on engaging with key stakeholders in healthcare and related sectors, ensuring compliance with proper packaging and treatment standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Promote and sell the company’s hazardous medical waste collection and treatment services to healthcare and related facilities.
- Identify and target potential customers, including nursing homes, pharmacies, veterinary surgeries, dentists, doctors, and laboratories.
- Provide technical advice to customers on the correct packaging and treatment of medical waste to ensure compliance with regulations.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, understanding their specific needs and providing tailored solutions.
- Prepare and deliver compelling sales presentations and proposals.
- Achieve and exceed sales targets while ensuring customer satisfaction.
- Stay informed about industry trends, regulations, and competitor offerings.
Required Skills and Experience:
- Proven sales experience, preferably in the healthcare or hazardous waste management sectors.
- Strong technical knowledge or the ability to quickly learn about medical waste packaging and treatment processes.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage effectively with healthcare professionals.
- Self-motivated and results-driven, with a proactive approach to achieving sales goals.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to manage a national territory.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Previous experience selling to nursing homes, pharmacies, veterinary surgeries, dentists, doctors, or laboratories is advantageous but not a prerequisite
- Familiarity with hazardous waste services and related regulations is preferred.
- A technical or scientific background is an asset but not essential.
- Valid driver’s license
