Company Overview: Our client a leading consultancy are seeking a highly skilled Senior Business Analyst to play a pivotal role in transitioning a clients integration architecture from ESB to Azure Integration Services (AIS) or Microservices.
Position Overview: As a Senior Business Analyst, you will be responsible for analyzing, designing, and implementing solutions that facilitate the migration from ESB to Azure Integration Services or Microservices architecture. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams including IT, development, and business stakeholders to gather requirements, define integration strategies, and ensure successful delivery of projects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead requirements gathering sessions with stakeholders to understand business needs and integration requirements.
- Analyse existing ESB architecture and identify opportunities for migration to Azure Integration Services or Microservices.
- Develop comprehensive business requirements documents, user stories, and functional specifications.
- Collaborate with technical teams to design integration solutions that align with business objectives and architectural standards.
- Provide subject matter expertise on integration best practices, patterns, and technologies.
- Conduct impact analysis and risk assessment for proposed changes to integration architecture.
- Facilitate communication and coordination between business stakeholders and development teams throughout the project lifecycle.
- Support testing efforts by defining test scenarios, reviewing test cases, and validating test results.
- Assist with the creation of training materials and provide training sessions to end-users as needed.
- Participate in post-implementation reviews to capture lessons learned and identify areas for continuous improvement.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Information Systems, or related field.
- Minimum of [X] years of experience as a Business Analyst, with a focus on integration projects.
- Proven experience with integration technologies such as ESB, Azure Integration Services, or Microservices.
- Strong understanding of integration patterns, protocols, and standards (e.g., REST, SOAP, JSON, XML).
- Experience with Agile methodologies and tools (e.g., Scrum, JIRA).
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities.
- Certification in Business Analysis (e.g., CBAP) is a plus.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Hands-on experience with Azure Integration Services (Logic Apps, Service Bus, API Management).
- Familiarity with Microsoft Azure cloud platform and services.
- Experience in the healthcare/finance/retail industry (or relevant domain).
- Knowledge of enterprise architecture frameworks (e.g., TOGAF, Zachman).
- Experience with data integration and ETL tools (e.g., Azure Data Factory, SSIS).
- Previous experience in leading or mentoring junior analysts.
