Felix Recruitment is partnering with a local SaaS Smart Building and Technology company devoted to offering the best end-to-end solutions in the IoT, Audio Visual, and Telecommunications Systems spaces, and so much more, across Ireland and beyond.
We are hiring for a Software Engineer to join their Ashborne (Co. Meath) Head Office on a Hybrid Working model.
The ideal candidate will be fully eligible to work in Ireland. We are currently seeking an ambitious, self-motivated, hard-working individual to work under direct supervision of a Product Design team and the architectural direction of the CTO.
Essential requirements include a Computer Science Degree and 2-5 years’ experience working as a Software Engineer in an AWS Cloud, Serverless environment.
Ideal previous use/knowledge of Node.js and TypeScript.
Responsibilities include the design, development and documentation of APIs and their integration in 3rd party API systems.
Strong backend programming required for API test scripts and Database management.
Previous experience supporting RESTful APIs and backend microservices is preferred.
The successful candidate will be working in an AWS Cloud Services environment, therefore good knowledge of the following is required: Lambda with Node.js, API Gateway, IoT Core, IaaC (Serverless Framework, Terraform, CloudFormation or similar), CloudFront, DynamoDB and OpenSearch databases, and competitive understanding of AWS services.
